At Serengeti West, the diamonds we offer to our customers are cut to the world’s highest standard of perfection. Our round brilliant diamonds are certified GIA Triple Excellent and AGS Triple Ideal Cut. We deal directly with one of DeBeer’s largest diamond sight holders; there is no more direct source. Being one of the world’s largest diamond cutters, they hold to the highest cutting standards in the world. We specialize in Ideal Cut diamonds, as well as fine color and clarity. Our Ideal Cut diamonds and Hearts and Arrows diamonds are certified by GIA and AGS, the most respected labs in the world.

A note on Conflict or Blood Diamonds…

When we learned of conflict, or “blood diamonds” a few years ago, Serengeti West’s management immediately took steps to ensure that we were not involved in the buying or selling of any of these stones. Serengeti West’s diamond suppliers provided documentation guaranteeing that they do not deal in conflict diamonds. Serengeti West does not, and certainly would not, support any entity involved in the distribution of conflict diamonds.

Since 2003, the United Nations and the diamond industry have adopted the "Kimberley Process", which ensures that any diamond sold is not a conflict diamond. The Kimberley Process is an international agreement to control the movement of rough diamonds across borders. Participants must comply with requirements that include the security of rough diamond production, tamper resistant containers and Kimberley Process certificates. Export control is achieved by limiting the movement of diamonds from their country of origin through all international borders.

Serengeti West guarantees that our loose diamonds and the diamonds in our finished pieces have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nation and the Kimberley Process resolutions.
